Purple Mohave (Mojave) is a stabilised, dyed composite material. The blue Kingman nuggets are natural Mohave (Mojave) turquoise from Kingman, Arizona; the purple matrix is colour-enhanced and bonded with resin. Purple turquoise does not occur naturally, so this stone is sold as a stabilised composite and not as natural purple turquoise.
