About This Material
Pink Dahlia is part of our Kingman Dahlia family: a White Buffalo-type stone (calcite-dolomite) mined in the Kingman area of Arizona. It contains no copper; its bronze veining is natural matrix. The base stone is naturally porous, so it is stabilized first and then dyed pink. It is sold as a stabilized, dyed composite and not as a natural pink gemstone or turquoise.
Metaphysical Properties (Traditional Beliefs)
Pink tones are traditionally associated with compassion, gentle love and emotional calm. These are traditional beliefs only and are not medical claims.
Birthstone Association
Pink tones are commonly associated with October, the month of pink opal and pink tourmaline. Pink Dahlia itself is not a recognized birthstone.
Care
Avoid prolonged contact with water, heat, perfumes and ultrasonic cleaners. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Each piece is handmade, so the pattern may vary slightly from the photos.
